Offutt Appreciation Picnic: Celebrating Those Who Serve - Susan C
Each year, the Offutt Advisory Council hosts the Offutt Appreciation Picnic to bring together Team Offutt, their families, community partners, and volunteers for a day of gratitude and celebration. The success of this special event depends on the generosity of community partners who believe in supporting the men and women of Offutt Air Force Base. For many years, Subaru has been one of those valued partners, demonstrating its commitment to Team Offutt through its continued sponsorship of the volunteer shirts worn by the many community members who make the picnic possible. These shirts are more than just a way to identify our volunteers—they are a visible symbol of the community coming together to serve and support those who serve our nation. From setting up and preparing the event to welcoming families, assisting with activities, and helping throughout the day, our volunteers work together to create a memorable experience for Team Offutt. Subaru's long-time support of the volunteer shirts is a wonderful example of its Share the Love promise in action. By investing in the people who give their time and energy to support Offutt families, Subaru helps strengthen the connection between Offutt Air Force Base and the community that surrounds it. In just a short time operating in Bellevue, Morrie's has demonstrated a genuine commitment to becoming part of our community and supporting the programs, events, and traditions that make Bellevue such a special place to live, work, and raise a family. Since 2012, the Bellevue Community Foundation has worked to enhance the quality of life in Bellevue by supporting community programs, projects, and events that bring people together. Partnerships with community-minded businesses like Morrie's Bellevue Subaru are essential to making that mission possible. Through their generous support of the Husker Nation Celebration, Bellevue Rocks! Riverfront Festival, and the truly unique Bogey's for Bellevue Golf Tournament, Morrie's is helping the Bellevue Community Foundation continue to bring people together and strengthen the community we are proud to call home. The primary objective of the event was to bring together members of our Military Community for an event filled with fun, camaraderie, and celebration. The event featured various activities, entertainment, and opportunities for families to connect and create lasting memories.
